Edith Pendleton Memorial Endowment raises $4,200 for Hospice
Over 250 people attended the Edith Pendleton Memorial Endowment program on Saturday, July 17 at the Lide White Boys and Girls Club in Madison - raising over $4,200 for the KDH Hospice Program. Health Builders
Health Builders are individuals who are deeply interested in improving the healthcare services of Jefferson County and surrounding region. They make an annual contribution of $100 or more to the King's Daughters' Foundation. The Foundation has pledged $200,000 over the next three years to the Cancer Center Project at KDHHS and 100 percent of all funds received from Health Builders memberships will be used for the Cancer Center Project. Health Builders will be recognized at an annual celebration, receive a print depicting a Jefferson County landmark, be listed in the Annual Report, and invited to attend recognition events and programs. Our Tree of Life is a commemoration, through financial giving, of our mission to support life by providing physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. All proceeds from the Tree of Life are used to further support the organization's patient care needs.
